The Brief
Every client project I take on is informed by one fact: I make original work under my own name and have for over a decade. The Taizu practice spans songwriting, vocals, production, directing, and performance, with features on ABC's national broadcast for AAPI Heritage Month.
The centerpiece is The Whole of Loneliness, a short film I wrote, directed, produced, scored, and starred in. An allegory on addiction exploring how compulsion can obscure the trauma we inflict upon ourselves.
The Work
Written, directed, produced, scored, and performed by one person. Then it started winning.
The Whole of Loneliness won Best Experimental Short at VAEFF 2025 at Cinema Village in New York, and Best Short Film at PRISM Pride 2025 with aGLIFF, with an Honorable Mention at the East Village Film Festival and selections at eight-plus international festivals.
As a recording artist I've passed four million streams across Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music, released over 65 works in the last 24 months, and earned recognition including 2019 Best New Artist from the National Congress in honor of UN Creativity and Innovation Day. I also co-founded XVII Records, a Philadelphia collective building queer and allied voices in the local creative scene.
